A look back

Cut Throat was formed in Brockton 2004 by Andy, Mike, Jon, and Marty. The band played its first show at Jarrod's in Attleboro, beginning a run that would take them throughout New England, the East Coast and into Canada. John M. of Junction 18 played bass following Jon's departure. Skot joined shortly after and became a full-time member for the majority of the band's run.

Throughout the years, Cut Throat shared the stage with countless bands and met some amazing people along the way. They played legendary and memorable venues, including CBGB's, The Kave, The Redzone, The Middle East, Hardcore Stadium, Tiger's Den, Club Lido, Haverhill's Exit 23 (New Direction) and many more. The band also recorded its first two CDs at New Alliance in Kenmore Square (RIP).

After years of shows, traveling, and making memories, the band's full-time run gradually wound down around 2008. In the years that followed, they continued to play occasional shows, primarily benefit events (Toy Drive Show), keeping the spirit of the band alive.

From their beginnings in Brockton to the stages they played and the friendships they made along the way, Cut Throat was more than just a band. It was a chapter of our lives built on music, dedication, and the people we met along the way.

For those people we were lucky enough to meet, booked us at your venue or put us up for the night: Thank you so much! To all the bands we shared the stage with: It was an honor and a pleasure!
